my story.

My experiences and challenges as a pre-professional dancer sparked an intense interest in nutrition. Driven by a desire to eat as healthily as possible, I developed a perfectionist mindset around food. What began as a pursuit of health gradually turned into a rigid and unsustainable way of living.

In 2021 while I was still in school, I moved into a dorm room with access to a full kitchen in the apartment. For the first time, I would be solely responsible for fueling my busy schedule with whole, nutritious, foods. This is where I developed a love for cooking and meal prepping. I began to understand how to incorporate all the foods I loved into my diet and even found “better-for-you” alternative brands/recipes that helped me perform better without restriction. I would bring the meals I made at home into the dance space at school, and all of my friends would comment on how amazing everything looked. I realized how exciting this was, and became encouraged to share my creations! This led to the development of my Instagram account @defineddancer where I share all of the recipes I make every week. What started as a way to help my friends recreate some of the dishes I brought to dance, blossomed into a passion and a curiosity to learn more about the science behind it all. Even deeper, it was the first example of balance I had seen in my life for many years. Realizing my healing required a holistic approach, I began to research ways in which I could help others do the same. 

In 2023, I came across the Health Coaching Certification program through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). I was delighted to find it addressed all the aspects of health – mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional – that I desired to learn more about. The program emphasized wellness beyond food, venturing into how we see ourselves in the mirror, the ways we incorporate movement into our daily lives, and the social nourishment we create around our professions. Post-college graduation, I enrolled in the Health Coaching Training Program at IIN. In April 2025, I graduated with my certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. 

Overall, my journey is continuously building upon itself, and allowing me to connect with others through artistry, vulnerability, trust, and education. Being a dancer has strengthened me in all aspects; as a coach, daughter, artist, friend, and person. The partnership of dance with holistic wellness has made me whole. The Reinvent Your Rhythm Programs focus on creating personalized health journeys that emphasize balance, flow, and consistency - just like a well-maintained rhythm in music. This kind of coaching emphasizes collaboration, trust, and deep listening, so that your health journey feels like your own personal symphony. The aim is not to push for perfection, but to align with a rhythm that makes you feel whole.

    - 6 months, meeting 2x per month for 60 min.
